The Vision of Men for Nations

America Has Always Been Blessed as Long as We Honored God and Obeyed His Laws

Our nation was founded by forefathers who re­spected the covenants of God and who estab­lished America as “one nation under God” — His Law, His promises, and His mercy. God has blessed America, for He honored those who honored Him.

Our Nation Has Been Flooded with All Manner of Lawlessness and Evil

God and His laws are no longer respected. Hu­manism has taken over our culture. Cov­etousness is exalted, even within our churches. Traditional family values are mocked. Immoral­ity and violence fill the media. Every hour, 100 unborn babies are mutilated or suffocated for convenience sake. Drugs are available every­where. Cults and witchcraft abound. How could this have happened in a nation founded on Christian prin­ciples by godly forefathers?

Our Enemy Did This “While Men Were Asleep”

By our apathy and prayerlessness we have al­lowed Satan to put our entire nation under siege — including our courts, our media, our schools, our congress and even our churches. We are losing by default. We will perish if we do not wake-up and reclaim our national institutions NOW!

We Are Responsible for What Happens on Earth

As Christians, you and I will determine the destiny of our nation. God has given you and me executive authority here on earth. He has put us in charge. He holds you and me re­sponsible for what He is able to do in our communities.

You and I will Determine the Destiny of America by Our Prayers of Faith

What He does here on earth redemptively is al­ways by executive request. His honor, His king­dom and His will here on earth depend on our petitions. In fact, Christ will not return to this earth until we invite Him. He could not have come the first time without the prayers of His people.

When Men Violate His Law, God Must Act to Stop Rebellion and Evil

God Has Two Options:

If Men Intercede, God Can Heal Our Cities and Nation

A. IF MEN INTERCEDE, lifting holy hands, God will stop our evil by healing our nation. He healed America in the past when men cried out to Him for mercy. . . in 1734, in 1794, in 1858, and again in 1906.  It will take extraordinary prayer to save America. Revival comes only through concerted, united and sustained prayer.

If Men Do Not Intercede, God Must Destroy Our Cities and Nation

B. IF MEN DO NOT INTERCEDE on behalf of our nation, God is left with only one option by which He can stop our national crimes: He must destroy us as he did Israel — thereby, putting an end to our gross evil and wickedness.

God will not tolerate the slaughter of millions of innocent babies to the gods of lust and greed. Our land is defiled by their blood, crying out for God’s judgments. A land filled with innocent blood, the Lord is not willing to forgive.

Only the fervent prayers of righteous men can stay God’s uplifted hand of final judgment, allowing God to forgive and heal our nation.

Would God Give America Another 125 Years as He Did Nineveh?

Nineveh was scheduled for destruction in 40 days. The entire city repented and cried to the Lord for mercy. The prince humbled himself and came down from his throne. The entire city fasted and prayed and even infants were taken from the breast. God did not destroy Nineveh in 40 days as proph­esied by Jonah. Instead, He gave them an ex­tra 125 years. If the Lord was this merci­ful to a heathen nation, might He not give America an extra 125 years.

But this will require Nineveh-like repentance. They all cried earnestly to the Lord from the greatest to the least. Our entire nation must re­pent, led by our elected officials, judges, pro­fessionals, executives, and heads of families.

It will take extraordinary prayer to save Amer­ica. Revival comes only through concerted, united and sustained prayer.

Men Must Launch a Pre-Dawn Prayer Offensive

Jesus warned us that we would face evil every day. We must “Watch and pray, lest we enter into temptation.” To be victorious, we must seize the advantage over our enemy. An army attacks before dawn (Psalm 110, 1 Samuel 11:11). David rose before dawn and cried to the Lord for help (Psalm 119:148).  Jesus rose very early in the morning, while it was still dark, left the house, and went to a solitary place and prayed.  After prayer, he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching and driving out demons.  If we rise early and call to God for help, we will release God to act on behalf of our families, neigh­borhoods, and cities. God will be able to stop abortions in our local hospitals and clinics. He will rescue them from oppression and violence. He will save them from death, for precious is their blood in His sight.

If we are to turn men from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, we must awaken the dawn each new day.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.  This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
