When we started The One Rescues, it was very clear what our mission would be. Save Lives! We were to find those that were in life threatening situations and if we didn't step in and do something they wouldn't make it.
We just got back from Pakistan and the temperatures were rising to extremely dangerous levels! Unfortunately that wasn't the only thing that was rising. Persecution of Christians in Pakistan is reaching new levels, with anti-Israel protests breaking out all over the country supporting Palestine and recruiting fighters to help. For our safety we drove in tinted windows and avoided crowded areas.
Howard Beam with Men for Nations accompanied me on this trip and was a critical partner in all we accomplished.

It truly was an amazing trip with much fruit to share. Below is a short recap of our trip.

Persecuted Christians In Pakistan
We all know that there are persecuted Christians and that this happens all over the world, and even Jesus said this would happen. What I didn't realize was the subtle ways persecution happens. As most of you know we are rescuing two young girls and their family from the Taliban and the ex-husband/Father who has tortured, gambled away, and beaten these girls.
They are safe under our care, but live in a Christian community in Pakistan. Unfortunately, the electric companies are owned by people that don't like Christians and therefore only give this community 2-4 hours of electricity per day simply because they are Christian. Its a form of persecution I didn't know existed.
This means no ceiling fans or lights will work most of the day or night. While we were there temperatures were reaching well over 100 degrees, which makes it brutal to endure this kind of heat with no fans or electric.
Fortunately, solar panels are available at fairly reasonable rates and offers a solution to this problem.
Whether it is purchasing someone's freedom from slave owners, buying solar panels so fans and lights will work in extreme heat, providing safe recovery homes for those trafficked, or digging a water well for clean water to a village, it's all about saving lives.

Will you consider joining the fight against the Persecuted, Trafficked, and Enslaved? Your gift is a lifeline of hope for so many kids and families.
Thank you for your consideration, support, and prayers.
